About Us

FIRST Robotics competition team 2404 is a group of high school students who participate in an annual robotics competition organized by the non-profit organization FIRST. The team is tasked with designing, building, and programming a robot to complete a specific set of tasks that vary from year to year. Our team also develops marketing and fundraising strategies, as well as participates in outreach events to promote STEM education in our community. The FIRST Robotics competition program aims to inspire students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics by providing hands-on experience in real-world engineering challenges.

The non-profit organization FIRST, which stands for "For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology," The goal of FIRST, as described by its founder Dean Kamen, is to cultivate a world that celebrates science and technology, and motivates young people to aspire to be In STEAM. The FIRST Robotics competition program aims to inspire students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics by providing hands-on experience in real-world engineering challenges.
